Our team delivers high quality work in all matters relating to immigration and visas. We can also offer advice on related employment and benefits matters.
Different members of our team may work on your case. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by Arta Heath, the Managing Director of MyUKVisas.
Arta is the head of our team and has over 20 years’ experience of all aspects of UK immigration, nationality and human rights law. Her experience includes litigating complex immigration cases, handling judicial reviews in the High Court and representing at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission and Court of Appeal. She has been working in this area since she qualified and has helped thousands of clients, including individuals, families and businesses.
She began her career working as an interpreter helping Kosovan refuges during the Balkans War in 1999 before becoming an Accredited Immigration caseworker in 2001 through ILPA (immigration Law Practitioners Association) working for various solicitors, then again in 2004 through the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme at Supervisor level. Arta qualified as a solicitor in 2010 after gaining a degree in Law from BPP University. She started her own law firm, Heath and Power Solicitors, in 2012 before deciding to specialise purely in immigration and visas and founding MyUKVisas in 2016.
Arta works from our Huddersfield and Sheffield offices and is a fluent Albanian speaker.
Anum is a graduate of East London University where she got her LLB Law and then when on to study her LPC (Legal Practice Course) at the University of Law. She knew she wanted to become a solicitor and help people with their legal problems. Anum has experience in dealing with private immigration cases and is able to understand and sympathise with her clients in dealing with the Home Office, especially as she herself has also dealt with them in her own personal life. Anum is also multilingual, she speaks fluent Urdu and Hindi, and has an understanding of the Punjabi language. Anum works in our London office.
Jack joined MyUKVisas in 2020 and has gained a great deal of experience in immigration and asylum law, participating in many areas of the legal process from family visas to asylum claims. He is based in our Sheffield office. Jack has a BA in International Relations from Lancaster University and it was during his final year of studies that he decided a career in the law was for him. The knowledge and skills he gained through his studies have been very helpful in supporting his work in this field; in particular his research and analytical skills and his knowledge of the activities of sovereign states and inter-governmental organisations, and the impact these have on individuals. Jack is undergoing training to become a solicitor and is currently studying for the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law. He is due to start his Legal Practice course in 2022.

Evis began her career as a codification expert in the Ministry of Justice in Albania, drafting legal acts and opinions. In 2006 Evis was a legal intern in the Stability Pact Secretariat to fight organised crime in Bucharest/Romania and contributed to the monitoring and implementation of the UN convention against transnational organised crime in South Eastern European countries. Evis is skilled in drafting and in legal research. She has experience in EU criminal law and criminal justice systems, human rights and environmental crime. She is fluent in Albanian, Italian and has intermediate level language skills in Spanish and Romanian. Evis works in our London office.
