We have three members of the team who may work on your matter. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by Arta Heath, the Managing Director of MyUKVisas.
Arta is the head of our team and has over 20 years’ experience of all aspects of UK immigration, nationality and human rights law. Her experience includes litigating complex immigration cases, handling judicial reviews in the High Court and representing at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission and Court of Appeal. She has been working in this area since she qualified and has helped thousands of clients, including individuals, families and businesses.
She began her career working as interpreter helping Kosovan refuges during the Balkans War in 1999 before becoming an Accredited Immigration caseworker in 2001 through ILPA (immigration Law Practitioners Association) working for various solicitors, then again in 2004 through the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme at Supervisor level. Arta qualified as a solicitor in 2010 after gaining a degree in Law from BPP University. She started her own law firm, Heath and Power Solicitors, in 2012 before deciding to specialise purely in immigration and visas and founding MyUKVisas in 2016.
Arta works from our Huddersfield and Sheffield offices and is a fluent Albanian speaker.

Ellie has four years of experience of UK immigration, nationality and human rights law. She studied for an LLB (HONS) at the University of Plymouth. She is a level 2 accredited IAAC and has been working with immigration law since she graduated in 2015. Ellie started as an intern at the University of Plymouth law clinic in cooperation with BRC. She handled mostly Family Reunion application of Refugees and acted as an interpreter for Farsi and Dari speaking clients. She then worked at Duncan Lewis solicitors until August 2019 as a caseworker. In this position she had the opportunity to work within a wide range of immigration and asylum law and visited many clients in prisons and immigration detention centres all over the UK. He cases included deportation, domestic violence, asylum, detention, bail, appeal, JR, human rights. She passed her level 2 exam in February 2019, which means that she is able to work with minor asylum seekers, victims of torture and victims of trafficking or modern slavery. She has also been trained to conduct advocacy at the Tribunal.
Ellie is based at our Sheffield office.
Irina is responsible for business development and marketing of our services to business clients. She has been practising as a solicitor since 2009 and before joining MyUKVisas, she was Head of the Employment Department at a city law firm in the UK and subsequently an Associate at one of the leading law firms in the Middle East. She is a dual qualified English and Russian solicitor with a sustained record of achievement in the Middle East, UK and Russia. Irina is a fluent Russian speaker.
